Born and raised on a dairy and beef farm in West Sussex, Syd grew up surrounded by quality British livestock and fresh produce. After redundancy as a nurse, she followed her true passion for cooking and feeding people.

The inspiration for The Sizzling Herd came from her days as a national milk recorder, when breakfast at food trucks after early morning shifts showed her the joy of great food served fresh.

As a farmer’s daughter, Syd is passionate about supporting British farmers and showcasing the quality of locally-sourced British meat. Every burger, roll, and loaded chip is made with pride; celebrating the best of British farming and Syd’s love of feeding hungry people with food that’s honest, delicious, and farm-fresh!
